“Star of Confidence” — Level 1

A one-day general-awareness and confidence-building program for 7th and 8th standard students in government schools. Through coordination exercises, teamwork, art and good-habit building, children discover their potential — and leave believing they can be the best.

A Day in the Program

Activities that build confidence

Brain-coordination exercises

Selected exercises to improve bilateral brain coordination and focus.

Scientist groups & research

Students form groups named after scientists and research their contributions.

Storytelling & handwriting

Each group writes and presents a short story; the best handwriting records it, one reads it aloud.

National Anthem & Tamizh Thai Vazhthu

Memorizing and singing with proper tone and pride.

Timed group art

Collaborative pencil sketches and the new “DiamondLink Art – Life Together” concept.

Origami & recycling

Group origami challenge, bottle decoration and money-plant insertion using recycled bottles.

Letter writing

Learning to write a formal leave letter in a proper format.

Good habits & study skills

Listing good habits, study skills — and habits to avoid.

Mini sports & projects

Friendly competition plus hands-on projects: paper bags, book binding, potting plants, stage program.

Interaction

Structured interaction with teachers and parents to sustain the change at home.

A lasting memento: a booklet compiling the records of the day — with all participants credited as authors — is distributed to the students after the program.
